It was a good time...

Hi everyone !

First of all, I wanted to thank all the players who played the game and shared their scores at the end of their sessions. This project was the last me and my team have made as students. It was hard, tricky and very funny and we’re proud of the game and even more of its mechanics and systems.

You surely knows, when a dev starts an announcement like this… it means something’s is gonna end. And i’m no exception at this rule. So….

The leaderboard is deactivated

I know this is not a big thing and many players will just share their scores via texts like on discord with friends lol. But you deserve explanations:

1 year ago, I (Le_Thom) bought the domain name ‘guntrain.fr’. On it, we shared links for reviews, game files, playtest forms and most importantly: the website !

Now, as the team has been disbanded and as no one of us will continue to work on this project, I didn’t pay another year for the domain name.

No panic, the website can still be (and will be) available at another address. But, for the API the game was using… The links in the compiled game are now ineffectives and will results in an error each time your try to share your score.

The website will still hold the last update leaderboard (from the 1st November, 2024) but players are now unable to register new scores in it.

The website will come again soon at guntrain.lethom.fr and you’ll still be able to download and play the game !

It’s not the end of this game. It’s the end of the leaderboard ! (and it was the end of the project)

Once again, Thanks to all, professionnals, streamers, content creators, playtesters, testers and others that played and/or gave us feedback on the game. You helped us and we hope you had and will have a great time playing and breaking the game down ^^
